Leaves

April 24, 2009. Broadway Avenue at Brown's Inlet, roughly opposite Pope's Lane, April 28, 2008. Developing leaves. . May 7, 2008 at Fletcher's - arboretum.

Buds

March 14, 2009 Brown's Inlet. Buds are small, grey-brown, nondescript.

Flowers

May 16, 2008 Brown's Inlet. Tartarian honeysuckle flowers are white or pink.

Fruit

July 4, 2008 Brown's Inlet.

Notes

Honeysuckle is possibly the most common shrub in the Glebe. It tends to grow in scraggly clumps. The bark can be fairly dark with whitish areas. Noted in the top photo was a tendency for one of the oppositely-paired leaves to remain undeveloped in several cases - at least at this early stage.
